What is a doula?

Historically, birth has always been a communal event—a sacred space anchored by the presence of experienced, nurturing individuals who held the threshold for the birthing person. A doula is a continuation of that ancient tradition. I am a trained, non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and educational support before, during, and after childbirth.

But more than that, a doula is a keeper of your peace and a protector of your choices.

Every birthing person carries an ancient, unbreakable wisdom within them. My mission is to bring back the intuitive birthing and infant care knowledge that the Western world has lost. I want to help you remember the immense power that already lives in your bones. You should never have to settle for a birth experience where you feel small, rushed, or unheard.

In your sacred space, I bring a unique blend of holistic and clinical skills. As a licensed massage therapist, I utilize therapeutic touch, optimal fetal positioning, and deep relaxation techniques to bring comfort to your pregnancy and ease to your birth. Whether you are navigating the tender vulnerability of labor or the early days of nourishing your baby, my hands and heart are there to protect your peace.

My practice is a safe inclusive sanctuary, and I am deeply experienced in holding space for unmedicated births, VBACs, inductions, high-risk journeys, planned surgical births, twins, IVF conception, single parents, those navigating mood disorders, and LGBTQIA+ families.

Whether you choose to bring your baby into the world surrounded by the specialized care of a hospital, the peaceful environment of a birth center, or the intimate sanctuary of a home birth, my devotion to you remains the same. You do not have to navigate it alone. I excel at fostering constructive dialogue between providers and families—bridging the gaps in care, driving away fear, and anchoring you in education. Together, we create a plan that honors your intuition. I am here to fiercely support your choices, actively listening to your needs, reinforce your confidence, and help you cultivate a beautiful birth story on your own terms.

One Postpartum Visit (2 hours):
We fit in whatever is coming up for you. Some examples include:
Debriefing the labor and birth experience, mental health check in, breastfeeding support, massage for mom, massage for baby, etc.
